Friends of Jordan Small Grants Program

**Please NOTE: In March 2015, Peace Corps suspended its volunteer activities in Jordan. At this time, the Small Grants Program outlined below is also suspended.**

The Friends of Jordan Association offers up to $150 in direct financial assistance to support community-based volunteer projects or activities in Jordan, or projects that promote Peace Corps’ Third Goal mission in America. The Small Grants Program objectives are:

• Promote grassroots community development, cultural exchange, environmental beautification, learning opportunities, or provide services for Jordanian communities in need
• Keep Friends of Jordan members up to date on volunteer activities and projects in Jordan
• Support the continued mission of the Jordan Peace Corps program through the Peace Corps’ three goals, particularly focusing on the Third Goal to promote a better understanding of other peoples on the part of Americans.

Friends of Jordan continues to support the spirit of volunteerism and understanding through providing grants for small, community-based volunteer projects in Jordan. We prefer that grant recipients are affiliated with Peace Corps Jordan’s office, but this is not required. For more information, please see the Grant Guidelines page.

We encourage RPCVs to apply for a Friends of Jordan grant to support Third Goal projects to increase understanding of Jordan in their communities. Please see the Grant Guidelines page for more information.
